Eton is the ideal place to pick up a picnic. The town is surrounded by beautiful open spaces perfect for a picnic lunch. So if you are renting a boat to cruise the Thames, walking the riverside path, attending the races at Windsor or Ascot, enjoying the opera at Glyndebourne, or simply dining al fresco on the Brocas or at one of the beautiful surrounding villages, why not call into Tastes to collect a delicious lunch.
If you order in advance we can pack your picnic ready for collection in either disposable cardboard boxes with convenient carrying handles or returnable wicker baskets. You can supply a list of what you would like and let us pack it, or a more vague list of the sort of things you like and let us choose for you. We also have a range of picnic suggestions (shown below) at a fixed price and are happy to adapt these if required. For further details or a copy of our current picnic menu please contact us.
You can order in person, by telephone, or choose from the picnic suggestions below to order your picnic online. Please give us two weeks notice to ensure all the items for your picnic are available. We can put a picnic together at shorter notice, but might need to substitute some of the items. Please contact us to check availability. You can include any other items from our online shop with your online picnic order, simply choose the "collect from shop" delivery option and we will put these with your picnic.
Eton College Fourth of June Celebrations
For the "Fourth of June" we offer an extended picnic menu and are able to deliver your picnic to the playing fields. Simply choose the picnic(s) to suit you, plus other items you would like to include and place your order in person, by telephone, or using this web site, before 5pm on 17th May.
