Cheese Wedding Cake #8

A stunning, 5 tier cheese tower created from cows' and goat's milk cheeses. The bottom layer is a cheddar-type cows' milk cheese. Next is a traditional blue Stilton from Colston Bassett. An top of that a rich, triple-cream cheese from France. Above that a snowy-white, crumbly goats' milk cheese. Topped off with a mellow and creamy mould ripened goats' milk cheese.

The 5 cheese tower weighs about 8.5kg and will serve between 85 and 120 guests. It is about 25cm wide and 35cm all.

This selection of cheese can be placed on top of a 3kg Brie de Meaux to create a 6 tier cheese tower. This is shown in the photographs here. With the extra layer of cheese (charged separately), the wedding cake would feed 110-170 guests.

The last two photographs show the tower, on a layer of Brie, but instead of the top two cheeses, the cake is finished with a heart shaped goat's milk cheese. This reduces the amount of cheese (and price) slightly.

The prices shown on this web site are for the cheeses only. We are very happy to discuss suitable decorations for the cheese towers and may be able to supply these. If required we can attend local venues and set up/decorate the cheese for you (at an additional cost).
