Lye Cross, at the foot of the picturesque Mendip Hills near the Somerset village of Cheddar, has been farmed by the Alvis family for 400 years. The farm's herd of more than 1,000 cows graze the lush pasturelands to produce a rich milk perfect for making cheese. Their distinctive West Country farmhouse Cheddar goes into these delicious crisps from Pipers.

Piper's have been cooking crisps in their own factory in Lincolnshire since 2004 and put real dedication into every single pack.

Selecting the best local potatoes, they remove just enough skin, slice them to the perfect thickness, then hand cook them in 100% pure sunflower oil until they're the right texture and colour. They finish by seasoning the warm crisps with the tastiest flavourings - sourced exclusively from people who are as passionate about quality as they are.
