This chestnut spread/crème de Marrons de l'Ardeche by Clement Faugier has been made to the same recipe since 1885 and is renowned for its tremendous flavour. A blend of puréed chestnuts with crushed candied chestnuts it can be used in baking or for sweet sauces.
