This Dhansak Korma sauce (which used to be called Anila's mild korma) is mildly spiced and made with chickpeas and creamy coconut and hint of tamarind to give a nutty creamy flavour. It is a concentrated sauce to be used with water plus the main ingredient to create curries in minutes.
Using twenty-three spices to perfect the ultimate curry, the top quality sauces have a home-made quality and are free from artificial colours, additives and preservatives, sugar, gluten, onion and garlic.
Serves 4-6.
Serving Suggestion - Vegetable Korma -
- Pour Anila's Mild Korma curry sauce into a saucepan.
- Add mixed vegetables (or your chosen ingredient) and stir well.
- Add about 1 cup of water or more if required and cook for 10 minutes.
- Stir in 2 tablespoons of natural yoghurt (optional) and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh coriander. Serve hot with dhaal, rice and chapattis.
